2 cans Linstead Market Jamaica™ Red Peas in Seasoned Coconut Milk
6 ozs Cooked Flaked Codfish
2 stalks escallion
2 cloves garlic (chopped)
1 sprig fresh thyme
1 green scotch bonnet pepper (optional)
2 cans vegetable stock
½ cup diced carrots
½ cup flour (for spinners)
1 oz margarine


In a sauce pan, melt margarine, sauté onions, escallion, add vegetable stock. Bring to boiling; add Red Peas in Seasoned Coconut Milk, carrots, thyme, and whole pepper. Make spinners by adding water to flour to make dough, pinch and roll oblong pieces, add to stew. Reduce heat and simmer, fold in codfish and simmer slowly for 5 minutes. Serve with plain rice.
